Bargaining has once again slowed to an agonizing pace. Inasmuch as the company does not appear ready to make any substantive movement on key issues, the decision has been made to return home for the weekend. We have been available continuously for over 130 days and have informed the company that we are prepared to resume bargaining next week if they are ready to bargain seriously.
The company needs motivation! Keep up the good quality, gold plated, work to rule.
The committee thanks all of the members and retirees that attended the rally in Sacramento today!

This whole contract situation is starting to piss a whole lot of us off. With our lives held hostage to negotiations, all our wonderful union leadership can do is send us a weekly update, if that. We need to know what’s going on or has our CWA leadership forgotten we pay dues so they can represent US. Stop telling us to turn our shirts inside out and start telling what the heck is going on. Quit feeding us that just be patient and we don’t know details crap. If you don’t know then who the heck does? There’s a comment you can think about…….Send that to District 9!
Hey, we all recieved an email at work regarding an outside firm that wants us to contact them “theretirementgroup@hotmail.com” regarding possible huge reductions to our retirements if our NCS dates are 20 years or higher. What the HECK is this about?? Something about ATT looking at a recent law passed by Congress called the Pension Proctection Act HR 4? Was this authorized by CWA? If not, who gave them our email addresses since it clearly says the COMPANY didn’t authorize it, and I quote..”This complimentary service is neither approved nor endorsed by AT&T”. What is this all about?
