Bargaining Bulletin #41
Friday, April 17, 2009
Today your bargaining committee requested more information from the company regarding healthcare. Every request we have made is in an effort to put forward an offer that shows the company how to save – And not shift costs onto our members back. The Premises Technician subcommittee focused on substandard Prem
Tech pay and benefits, the protection of traditional core work, and the companies desire to erode work to lower rated titles.
At the heart of the mobilizing plan is the recognition that a UNION’S STRENGTH lies with its MEMBERS. Contract gains are not won at the bargaining table; they are won away from the table through the visible Unity and Support of the MEMBERSHIP.
