Bargaining Bulletin #40
Thursday April 16, 2009
In the Memorandum of Agreement subcommittee today we focused on the many issues around monitoring. The Formal Session continued to focus on Health and Welfare. The company provided a partial data response to the Unions data request on Health and Welfare. At the heart of the mobilizing plan is the recognition that a UNION’S STRENGTH lies with its MEMBERS. Contract gains are not won at the bargaining table; they are won away from the table through the visible Unity and Support of the MEMBERSHIP.
