We continued meeting in subcommittee regarding the Premise Technicians. We also met on the issues around the ST to MST process. The formal session was focused on the complex and important issues regarding health and welfare.

All the locals in California and Nevada are asking every employee of at&t wireline to not work overtime. This is difficult for some, but this is not about a quick dollar. This is about fighting for a fair contract, that’s where the real payday is. ALL of us need to understand that a work action is the same as a picket line. There will be individuals that will choose not to comply. These are the same individuals that would accept anything that the company offers, even if it means losing what our predecessors fought for. We need to make it clear that we stand united. We choose work actions in place of a picket line, so understand that choosing not to comply with this or any work action during this contract time may be seen as crossing the picket line.
